Al-awwal Honours “Al-awwal”

In 2009, Sayga’s Al-awwal flour brand has started rewarding the achievements of the highest-scoring students in each field of the Sudanese Secondary School Certificate (academic, commercial, agricultural, industrial, and women-specific studies).

In recognition of their hard work, a festive ceremony sponsored by Al-awwal, is held and attended by family, friends, academia representatives, DAL employees, and government officials. Each student is presented with a medal, a certificate, a tablet computer and an all-expense-paid trip to Malaysia to attend an intensive course in English language.
